Our Story

What is now “Heart of Promises Ministries” began in 2000 as “Believer’s Fellowship” as Pastor Sylvia’s first church in York Pennsylvania. In 2004, Pastor Sylvia had a vision from God to move her ministry to Arizona. Being obedient to the Lord, Pastor Sylvia, Apostle Keith, and their four children relocated to the desert to continue ministry. Over the years, the ministry held church services in hotel conference rooms and school gyms. In 2016, the Beatty’s purchased land in San Tan Valley. The church doors opened in February 2018.

Outside of pastoring the church, the Beatty family has a long history of ministry. For over 40 years, Apostle Keith has dedicated his years to troubled youth, from running group homes to owning a well-known alternative education program, Mission Home Ministries.  Mission Home has helped thousands of youth from broken homes, and is the foundation of our current HOP vision to build ministries for the youth in Arizona.
